The ferrule on the upper leg of the tuning slide was cracked so I replaced it.

The patch on the leadpipe was there when I got it. There was a small crack in the seam of the bell which I patched by the bell tail.

You could have more restoration work done to it if you want but it plays right now. it’s had some work done to it since 1933 as shown in pictures. All slides come out even the third valve slide. This horn is low pitch and you can play it in any modern band. It was a high pitch horn which means you couldn’t play it in a modern band. The last one I saw sold for 900$ and it was unlacquered brass. Louis played a version of this trumpet for the rest of his life.
